Skidloader was starting hard, had a ground wire from battery ground to chassis burn up, replaced that but not to the same location grounded it to the body instead of the hydro unit. Things were fine but still started hard. So I replaced the battery cables, now it tries to start when I connect the cables to the battery, even with the key turned off. Only thing I can say is different is that the positive cable going to the starter post does not have a rubber boot on it, could that be the problem? Not very good when it comes to electricity. Any help appreciated.
