Similar situation a few years ago. I was following a school bus in my neighborhood and knew where he stopped and what kids got off the bus and where they lived. The bus stopped ,turned on his lights and put out the stop sign. I saw a jacked up pickup coming up behind us and move over to pass. I pulled over to block him and he just managed to stop before he hit me. Just at that moment 5 or 6 kids walked out from in front of the bus to cross the street. I knew the kid driving and his dad. After I told his dad, his dad sold the truck.
