You ain't kidding, as if laws are just suggestions now. If I am driving slower than 5 over around here, passing on double yellow is apparently ok. Probably get passed on a double yellow every day at least once. Worst place is through at little village I have to go through on my way to work. 25 MPH double yellow through it, I am usually between 25 and 28 mph, but will have people that are probably late for work go right around me probably at 35 mph+. They probably are the same people that I saw do the same thing as the OP passing a school bus with sign out and red lights on.
