OK good idea! But just where are people supposed to get input so they can think? Yes there is more than one source and IMO people should get data from as many sources as possible before making a decision. So if they turn off the news just how are they supposed to know the WTC was destroyed? Or that we invaded Afghanistan and Iraq? They did away with the town crier long ago!
Without the news we would be completely unaware that some, the protestors, would tear up the Constitution! But they most likely don't know that the electoral college was set up in the Constitution! I haven't watched much of it. But what I have seen brings back memories of those involved in the "take back Wall Street" who had absolutely no idea what they were protesting about when interviewed!
Actually, as Americans we have the right to get our input from where ever we want! If the president says something we don't have to believe him! Our country is set up that way so that no one man can become a power unto themselves!
