I'm a firm believer in Seafoam and Berryman's. I use Seafoam in all my small engines and both tractors.
Last year I bought a Wheelhorse garden tractor that would barely run at idle. I dosed the gas with about double the usual amount of SF and drove it around at full throttle for 30 minutes or so and then let it set for a couple of days and tried it again and it idled just fine and ran smooth.
