Young soldiers often ask each other about where they are from and what it's like. Not too odd seeing that one can be from NYC and the next MT. I was actually asked if MN had 4 season more than once. I always told em " fall starts the 1st of Aug and ends on 31 Oct. Winter runs from 1 NOV to 30 Apr. Spring starts 1 may and runs through 29 Jul, Summer starts 30 Jul and ends 31 Jul......"
Many guys were astounded when I told them that my home town was only 125 people. Common questions were "what's it like" and what to you do for fun"? I told them it sucked because when you did something at least 3 neighbors would call your parents BEFORE you could get home! And that for fun we would play pinball at the local gas station and watch hair grow!
