Got the 12000 lb HF winch mounted on my new trailer. I got the remote that goes with it, added l LED work lights from Northern Tool and wired them to work when I put the transmission in reverse. I made the mounting plate brought a new interstate group 27 marine battery and a solar charger. All in and done give are take a few bucks I have $525 in the deal. That does not include replacing a $100 grinder I overworked cutting the 3/8 plate...
I am not a HF man I use a winch a few times a year so rolled the dice. I mostly loan a trailer out to GOOD customers to haul there cars/trucks to me to work on. I have a tow truck but its hard to find the time to do much towing.
