Stephen, I am convinced it's that type behavior that causes rush hour gridlock!
Everyone thinks that at the head of this 5 MPH parade is someone blocking the way. In reality it's the aggressive drivers that won't stay in their lane!
Making quick lane changes, bullying their way into a space that's not big enough for their vehicle, passing on the shoulder, passing in the exit lane...
Then the offended driver reacts in varying ways.
Some react in fear jamb on the brakes, traffic stops.
Some react in anger, trying to get revenge, more stupid maneuvers, traffic stops.
In either case, a whole line of cars have to get on the brakes to make room for one idiot that has now successfully gained the distance of one car length!
I see it daily, someone comes on the freeway, makes a death defying series of maneuvers to get to their God given place in the left lane... Then as I drive past them in the middle lane, there they sit in the slowest lane of the freeway because it's filled with people just like them!

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
