I have always had cats and I have 2 cats now and they are kept inside at night but during the day they prowl and do there cat things. Over the yrs. we have lost a few do to Fishers or coyotes but never to road kill and that is by luck only there is not much traffic on our rd. and the cats seem to learn to get out of the way when a car approaches.
loosing a pet whether it is a cat or a dog is a hard thing to deal with,lets face it they are family.
