Money up front always throws a red flag with me. That tells me you credit and ethics are sh!t.
My dad had a lawn grading business from 1947 till 1983 when I bought it from him. Never once did he or I ask for or take money up front. It was sometimes offered but never accepted.
I'd say you looked around for the cheapest price and in the end got what you paid for. And asking for interest when you can't get the principal,come on .
