A couple weeks ago seen add in craigslist for ariens mower model 1540, looked good, add said new motor 2 years ago, new hard tubs on catcher unit, right side drive unit bad. Went to take a look, motor had been replaced with a 21 horse briggs, did some checking around, found out surplus center had the drive unit for 230.00. Offered the seller 200. He said 250. Sold. I have a 21HP. 40 inch cut mower with grass blower, bagger system. Total investment. 270. Bucks. Guys on this page helped me to get the system purged and working. THANKS.
