You and the wife should take a ride out to Hornings Market in Bethel sometime (78w to 501s). It's a mennonite grocery store and they have great prices. They are open Mon-Sat, and its best to go during the week because it gets flooded with city people from Reading on Saturdays unless you go early.
I paid .62 cents/doz for large eggs this past week. Last week, mediums were .39/doz. Fresh lunchmeats and cheeses $2.39/lb for smoked turkey breast on sale. $1.99 for cooked ham. Fresh made hoagies are $2.50. We love that place and go once a week. If you spend $100 here, your cart will be full (guaranteed)
I get so disgusted with the prices at the grocery stores anymore after shopping here
