Valve or pipe leaking. Had to do mine a couple of weeks ago. Lucky I was home and heard it short cycle really bad. The back pivot on the little flap valve had broken off. Biggest problem is it is a 3 inch well and not a 4 inch. When I had it worked on 20 years ago they had stopped making 3 subs. NOW they don't make 3 inch footvalves anymore. Lucky for me they now make 3 inch subs again to the tune of 250 plussssss! Only a 60 foot well and he put in a new tank also. Whole deal was $1800.oo. Best thing now is I have water flow and pressure out the WAZOOOO!! It is only going to get worse so pucker up and move them out.
