Well it has to have been repainted. Fords of the vintage your talking about where all red/white/gray. The blue and white came about in the mid 1960s.
Your tractor could very well just be an orphan made up out of "parts" of other tractors. The 2n/9n had many parts that could be bolted together in many combinations. The value of these tractors hit bottom around the early 1970s. So if there was much wrong with an engine or transmission you could buy a complete engine or transmission cheaper than you could repair what you had. So many of them got mixed and matched.
