From the title,I thought you had a day like I had yesterday. The shut off cable broke on the 2-105. No huge deal,but I was hauling manure. The second load,the splines stripped off the shaft that comes out of the gear box and slides in to the beater. I got that apart,ordered a new shaft,bearings and seals then figured I might as well get ready to pick corn while I wait for the parts to come in. I was cranking the elevator up to put it in a crib and the cable broke and that came crashing down.
This morning,there was a cow with her face all swollen. We had to get her in and call the vet. Doesn't matter if it's machine or animals,I can't win right now.
