Boss has owned one for 3+ years. We use it to mow four farm yards. One of the main operators is his daughter, who could break a ball bearing in a grease pit. So far, she hasn't been able to damage it. The mower deck is welded plate steel, not the thin stamped stuff commonly seen.
Only quirk it has is when turning the mower deck on. If the deck isn't all the way up, it will throw the drive belt. After it is going, the deck can be lowered with no problem.
