The shorter arms will make the steering ratio somewhat quicker and the steering wheel won't have to be turned as many degrees to steer the tractor from one extreme to the other. The front wheels will still turn just as far. You will need an adapter plate that bolts to the crankshaft pulley. It will go on with 3 or 4 bolts depending on whether you have a gas or diesel engine. It will probably have a splined hub and there will be a shaft that goes into it and extend out through the front axle and bolster.
