In the late 1970's a 3/4 ton Truck was in the ditch around mile 132 of the Alcan/ Alaska Highway. Company policy was we are not to TOW or PULL anyone. On the Alaska Highway you do not leave anyone stranded. When I approached the vehicle a very arrogant loud self important person was full of YAP. I explained that he would have to attach the TOW rope as I would not! I also mentioned not to attach the Tow Rope to anything other than the Frame. More YAP and arrogance........When the Tow Rope became taunt, my Service Truck moved forward with his Radiator and associated parts on the end of the Tow Rope. The Gentleman was the quietest man for the next three hour drive I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. I dropped him off at his Company office and never looked back!..................:)
