We rent out the old farm house, just signed another year long lease with the current tenants. We allow dogs, but no pit bulls because our insurance says no way.
While showing it a few years ago, it seemed like everyone that came to look had pit bulls. I would explain that it's out of our hands, and the insurance company would drop us in a heartbeat. One of the potential tenants offered to pay for us to go with another company. Mind you, this is the policy for the entire farm and the house is just thrown in on it. I politely declined and found someone else.
Had some tenants who trashed the place. we had to replace all of the carpet and vinyl, replaster some walls, and repaint the whole thing. One of the kids would pee in the corner of their room, seemed like every night with how bad the stain was.
