Weight capacity of the gear, 3 ton, 4 ton, 5 ton or 6 ton? 4 ton was most popular but seems as if people now wany a 8-10 tone gear for what we used to haul on a 3-4 ton gear. And flat wagons sell high here. Consignment sale here this past spring had a couple of rough looking new beds on old poor quality gears sold for 3 times what material would have cost. Gears were 40's 3 ton and needed lot of repair, beds I would have not taken home for but were new never used and brought well over a thousand a piece. I was looking only for John Deere 953 gears as what the person I buy for only wanted at that time as he still had several others in his inventory for sale. And a lot still want grain sideboards.
