I never have, most speeding tickets I deserved and didn't question. I've had a couple of seatbelt tickets and thought of challenging those but the ticket was less than the productivity I would have lost going to court. The last one I should have challenged because the cop literally ran me off the road before he turned on his light. He was much more of a traffic hazard to others than I was not wearing a seat belt.
A number of years ago my Dad got a speeding ticket in a nearby town. Dad paid the ticket and forgot about it. About a year later he got a check in the mail from that county in the amount of the ticket. Turned out someone challenged a ticket and the cop wasn't trained in the use of the radar gun. They had to refund every ticket he had written. Sometimes it may be a community service to challenge a ticket.
