Yes I have challenged a speeding ticket once. I was driving my Pontiac Fiero thru a county park. This car had the Indy 500 package on it which is fairly rare & it looked SUPER fast even if it was setting still in a parking lot. The speed limit was 20mph & I was just idling along in second gear. The park officer pulled me over & gave me a ticket for 28mph. I took it to court & the judge ask me why I was challenging the ticket. I told him I would like to ask the park officer two questions & he said OK. I ask him if he had radar or if he just visually judged me to be speeding. He said it was visual. I then ask him if he felt he was visually able to tell the difference between 28mph & 27mph. He said no. I then turned to the judge & told him I felt I wrongfully received this ticket. The judge then thanked me for coming to court & dismissed the case.
