yeah .... I've herd 3116 is a hotter if and heard that of the engine is well worn to use a hotter plug? well mine is all original with no rebuild maybe sometime back 20 years ago they did a rebuild ? ha but the 48 I have had the original mag and hand crank so I start it just about every time with the crank the old plugs where RD 16 champions, I've thought of going with a champion D 21 plug ?? and using them I just wasn't to sure which would be the best brand since my cub had a working mag on it .
