We had a good break in rain and humidity so I took advantage and cut a little hay. The alfalfa was just starting to bloom so was maybe a few days early but wasn't going to pick up much more yield. Cut Saturday as soon as the dew was off. Teddered Sunday after dew was off before going to family reunion. Monday morning waited until 11 and raked, let it sit in windrows until 2:00 and got after it. We got some new neighbors with a 14 year old boy that plays football. I asked if he wanted to come stack hay. His parents encouraged him but I could tell he wasn't into it. Wasn't hard work, hay was pretty light and only picked up 100 bales. Best part, I have a neighbor that just bought two horses and a donkey. Called last night and they'll take it. Just need to pull racks over there this afternoon and unload and stack in their shed.
