Thanks, I have a very good welder who I work with on a regular basis. I just never thought it could be repaired and hadn't asked him about it. So, I've never done this before. How do I go about removing the calcium and tire? Bring it to a tractor tire dealer? I have a couple of those around me. Who knows how long this tire has been on the rim. Could be original, for all I know. I'm thinking just breaking the bead and trying to remove the tire might be enough to collapse the area around the stem. No?
