IIRC, that port accepted a steel tube with some sort of ferrule and nut with external threads (at least the versions from combine power units).
Take a look inside the port, and if it's straight threads and there's a machined area at the bottom to accept a ferrule that is the kind of thing you are looking for.
Looks like the (NLA) part # for the nut MAY be VT4911. Looks to be a big version of the #222-503 5/16" "hi-duty" nut with ferrule attached IH used on gas lines "back in the day".
My late Uncle had a VAC with combine pump and used heater hose (NOT a good idea) to feed oil to it and he and the local blacksmith made up a fitting from two pieces of electrical conduit brazed into a cast-iron elbow. NOT sure where they found the nut, and (IIRC) waterpump packing instead of the correct ferrule.
