I have an Allis Chalmers 5030 diesel import and I am replacing the head gasket. Tractor data sheet says 119-146 Ft/Lbs for the head bolts. The cylinder head is cast iron and I am re-using the original bolts because new bolts are no longer available. The bolts are clean and not corroded.
Confused with the 119-146 Ft/Lbs range, how much torque should be used on these 17mm bolts? - thanks
