Under the concrete floor on the past three bins I have built I have put a 4 mil plastic vapor barrier. Each has had an air floor. Started bin number 4 last week and somewhere I might have read that a vapor barrier is not needed on a bin with an air floor. The main floor is built on top of at least 6 inches of course packed fill. Is there still an advantage to having a vapor barrier? What do you guys think??
