It happened to in laws last year. Both of them are hard of hearing. She answered the phone, heard one of grandsons was in trouble, handed phone to him. He took down the Western Union info and took the money to town. Yep, they were taken. After the fact they started calling family to see actually which grandson was in trouble. None. Then they clammed up. so embarrassed that we still don't know all the details. BIL visited State police, but they told him there is nothing that could be done.
