I put a Kohler command 24 hp in mine. Made a MACHINE out of it. No more lugging while turning or lifting. If my memory is right All I needed to do was fab a 1.5 inch spacer to lift the engine up to the crankshaft height of the Onan. The bolt pattern was the same, and PTO size worked also. Exhaust needed to be built, but I used NPT pipe. I used the original throttle and choke cables. Very easy fit. I could text you pictures if this would help. Al 231/757/0064
