The US Post Office will accept mail addressed to "So-and-so, General Delivery, such and such City, State, ZIP". You have to be sure of the ZIP code in case there is more than one Post Office in the same city. You can then pick up your parcel at the specified post office within a reasonable time of its arrival. General Delivery is commonly used by folks who are always on the road. However, not all sellers will ship USPS, and those that will may not be willing to ship to a General Delivery address for fear of fraud.
I don't believe United Parcel Service or FedEx accept "general delivery" parcels, because they want a specific street address, even if you've opted to have your parcels held for pickup at the local UPS/FedEx office. Check with UPS or FedEx if you have to use their services.
