Depends on what type push button starter switch you have.
If it's a little button with small screws on the back, no, it won't carry near enough current to run the starter! It is designed to only operate a soleniod.
If it is a large contactor type, with say 3/8" studs for the battery cable and starter cable to connect to, then yes it will work.
Whatever method of starting you use, be very careful bypassing the neutral switch! I know you will be careful because you know how it's wired. It's the next person (or kid) that comes by that gets hurt!
As for the IC64 coil, I don't know what that coil requires. If you can check the resistance across the terminals, and it come out to around 3 ohms, it will work. For temporary use, just about any coil will work, just be careful not to leave the ignition on, it may over heat and burst!
