Right here along Lake Michigan we finally got rain last night about 10 pm, by now about a half an inch has gently fallen. This is the first measurable rain since 7/30.
Somehow, July shows 3.14 inches total, I sure don't remember that much. The grass was as dry and brown as I have seen for several years... the average high temperature was around 85, with 70% humidity
