I have been trying to hay (grass) for over a month, not getting very far. Raining a little, not a lot, but something like 2" last night. Lots of foggy mornings, overcast, cloudy, hay not drying, sitting over extra days, things like that. I'm not working at it today, some water puddles will be soaked in by tomorrow, lots of slough/mud to mow around, almost got stuck out there yesterday before this.
Not complaining though, a number of years of severe drought the last couple of decades. I prefer this to buying 100s of tons of $225/ton hay, barely being able to find any, buying old hay, etc. Might have some extra this year again. Last year was the first year in probably 20 that I didn't have to buy any, this year should be more.

The answer to our needs materialized in the form of a '44 Farmall A, complete with cultivators, discs, single plow, a 5ft.Woods belly mower and one, mounted spare 9.00x24 rear wheel.
