Just drove across Kansas yesterday. Saw hundreds of acres of Sunflowers, (if not thousands), because the farms are so vast that they reach beyond the horizon. Beautiful sight and also saw a few million acres of beautiful corn. Hope the yield is as good as it appears to be. In some areas, I could not tell the difference between irrigated corn and dry land corn. As I traveled, I could only imagine the tremendous cost of putting this crop in the ground. Also saw areas where it looked as though they were double cropping wheat and Milo. All looked very good. I am hoping for a good crop for all farmers. Who else can we depend on?
