I sure wouldn't talk about this on the net. The trouble with a .22 is if you are the slightest bit off the sweet spot the cat can crawl under something and die a slow painful death. I once had 50 cats, yes 50. I got the population down by limit feeding them. They are free to leave at any time. Now I have five mammals and ten kittens. One of the mamas just moved her kittens to another farm. I have expelled some very mean, evil toms but I will not kill anything 'just because'. As far as inbreeding goes, I guess I now know where the phrase "he has the morals of a tom cat" was coined.
