Bill you can get bulk head fittings that just have a single nut on the out side to clamp the side of the tank. The ones I use have a left handed thread on the clamp nut. So you just put in a fitting in the bulkhead fitting to hold on the outside and tighten the clamp nut. The fitting will be right handed and the clamp nut left so they both will tighten. To get the fitting in the hole from the inside, I run a piece of #9 wire from the top down and out the bottom hole I want the fitting in. Then just slide your bulkhead fitting down the wire. Many sprayers are made to where you can not reach the fittings from the top.
Also a roller pump does not draw liquids up very well so your sprayer would work much better with the pump being gravity feed.
