I too put a HF Predator on my TroyBilt. As Garret said it fit perfectly except for that one bolt which as I recall is metric. The predator always starts on the first pull and has plenty of power. The only issue I have had if tilling on a steep sidehill the low oil sender will shut it off if it is not overfilled with oil slightly. If it quit right now I would not hesitate to replace it with another. Much better than the original Kohler or Briggs.
