if i could afford it id replace it with a Honda engine, my personal best is a honda mower i bought new...in 1985, with one overhaul, that mower is running today , also every other honda powered small machine i have is still running too, that being said my troybilt tiller which has one of the older briggs engines on it is still running too, but has to have a slight snort of fluid to start when its been sitting, warm, it starts right up or same day, it starts right up , ive had tecumseh's that would not start cold, and i had the displeasure of having one on a log splitter that took 3 hours to get running when it was in the single didgets out , i gave that away
