Good to see you got a PK, I don't know how the older fabricated decks mow but I have 2 of the stamped type and they mow very well and can handle tall thick grass no problem but you7 can't expect any deck no matter who's to mow with out leaving strips if the blade are wore out not square on the ends, the fellow I bought my Power King from also said it didn't worth are darn, I removed the blade and the back side of them was a sharp as the cutting edge and the throttle had a stop installed that only let the engine rev to 2700 R's got it set to 3400 and sharpened the blade and it cuts great, and the deck in the video sounds just fine these decks are noisy it sounds just like my 2 decks and I've been thur both.
