Several years ago my wife, kids and I were going to northwest Wisconsin. I suggested we go through Duluth/Superior since I had never gotten to see the great lakes. On the day before we left the heat index was 117�, and on the interstate between Minneapolis and Duluth the temp was 97�. So when we hit the curve you talked about all we saw was a giant fog bank that kept visibility under 200 yards. We spent all afternoon in Duluth and I've still never seen the great lakes!
