Just adding my opinion here.... I see no advantage in synthetic. Costs more - a LOT more than dino oil. You still need to change it at the recommended intervals. Also is a lighter viscosity, so in a worn engine, it will probable consume more between changes. Given that an old tractor engine (or car engine for that matter) ran just fine on the older oils for years and years, what would be the point of changing to synthetic?????
