Sounds like a 630 series, case used different numbers in model no.for different versions of that model.631 is diesel row crop and letter after number means had different option.not sure on letter L may be for extra low gear.or low profile but don't believe they made any in 630 though.,A letter h after mod.number means extra high speed gear or a c means case-a- Matic .I have a 1962 641C wich is gas row crop with case- a-matic trans. 630's were built 60-63Your serial number is a early 1961
