You might want to check the Indian Casino on Shrunk Road. Its about the newest thing up there. Theirs allot of older motels there. Our son went to Lake State up there but that was about 15 years ago. I know we stayed in allot the motels up there when we would visit him and some are real dives and others were just ok. I would check out the comments on line regarding the motel you are thinking on. That's how we pick them when traveling and seem to have pretty good luck. We will be up there at the Soo Locks Campground next weekend with our 5th wheel camper. We have gone up their for a week every summer since 2004 and just park right on the river in the campground and watch the freighters go by.
