it issome kind of mold ,, has it been rainy thereover last 30 days ?,, about 25 yrs ago, I had a beautiful crop of barley ,, the sows always made me healthy pigs with barley .. it rained and rained and when it got done it rained again for 3 weeks,. combined the barley , and that stuff just made me terribly itchey sneezey , and cruddy feeling .. while raking strw it was even worse , ,, ground the barley and ed it to the sowsand you would athought I gave them sawdust,. so I took a couple hundred lbs to thehoggs on the fat hogs up a t dads,,. they just laid on it and workedit into the pit thru the slatted concrete floor , , calledthe vet and toldhim all about it , he said there was a toxic fungus on the grains that yr in places that got too much rain ,. he said give some to the cows ,, they got a different type stomach ,. the cows ate it as fast as I could haul it to them , and never showed a sign of siknes,..
