Back in the mid 70's I owned a chevy blazer. I left my folks house after dark and got a tailgater soon after hitting the main road. I slowed to let them go past, they didn't. I moved over onto the limited shoulder and stopped, they stopped. I stomped the gas, so did they. A 74 blazer won't out run a cady. I knew the area and turned the corner to go a mile or so to my apartment. There was a raised RR crossing about a block and a half down the road. Being a kid, I knew just how to hit the crossing so as to jump the tracks. I stomped the gas and didn't let off till I hit the jump. The cady followed me not knowing about the crossing. I watched in the mirror to see his headlights go up, and everything light up red behind him as he hit the brakes. Next I saw sparks as his front end bottomed out and he slid to a stop cross-ways in the road. I kept going, laughing all the way home. Bet he never did that again. Tim in OR
