I probably should not admit to this, but the strangest ride my friends and I hauled to the Silver Lake dunes one year was a 1971 AMC Gremlin with duals on the back. It didn't climb the hills very well but we had fun with it. Had lots of pictures taken of it by strangers too. Guess they never saw a Gremlin before...
