I have a John Deere 2010 that I need to get from my parents house down the road 7 miles to the site of my MIL's auction. I am hoping I can polish the points and it will start. I tried to start it a few weeks ago without any luck, but it did run about a year ago. I don't have much/any time to put into working on it right now and it must go in the auction.
Can I tow it that far without damaging/destroying the transmission? (going slow of course)
