oldtanker I agree with you and for most part I usually don't report on actor and sports figures deaths unless they are ones from very old well knowen shows or did something that was the 1st or no one else did in sports Doing my daily This Day in History I have included them only if there's no others to fill in the catagory and I have to sift threw 100's every day as most history sites figure no one but actors and sports figures lived after about 1900
Over the last cple of days there's been postings on theses History sites as to the first killed during a war One for the civil war I think and today there was one listed as the 1st US serviceman killed for the Korean war I omit them personally in respect to all the others whom gave their all that don't get their due attn as they weren't the 1st or last They are all deserving of our respect I do however include well knowen war hero's or significant persons though
