Actully Noel Neill played Lois in a previous movie called (Atom Man vs. Superman 1950) and she also played Lois in the previous serial (Superman 1948) with Kirk Alyn playing the role of Superman even before George Reeves Phyllis Coates did play Lois in the next movie (Superman and the Mole-Men 1951) then again for the series (Adventures of Superman 1952-1953) for the first season Then Noel took over the role again when she replaced Phyllis Coates in the part on the TV series in the second season when Coates was offered a leading part in another TV series and left the show (1953-1957)
